Hop Into My Dream Reading Room

This week's Book Blogger Hop question is "What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?"  

I would like a reading room that:
  • is sound proof to the rest of the house
  • has a lot of natural light
  • has a comfy reading chair. I like the sedan in this photo!
  • a huge bookcase for my growing collection of books
  • and a really bright, adjustable lamp.
There would be a desk for my computer, a small stereo and ...

the new nook color! I may have to seriously consider this e-reader.

    Following the mechanical bunny around...

    Anything bookish... A library at my fingertips at all times. Luckily I have my Nook :D It makes me mad that they just came out with the new Nook Color so shortly after I bought my Nook. I wish we got a discount to up grade!!!

    Awesome! Love it. I like that you would have natural lighting, much better on the eyes! Soundproof is also a nice touch. I too want an in-house reading room! It would be wonderful!

    Love that picture, the sofa, bookshelf, light coming in, the rug, very nice.

    I want a coloured ereader also, I love my Kindle and said I will get the upgrade when they have one. The Nook is very nice though but I love everything about my Kindle so I will wait.

    I'm already a follower. I'm reading a Verse Novel, Glimpse right now and want to read Silence of the Lambs this weekend.

    Hi! I'm from the hop. I love your description of a reading room. Being sound proof and having a lot of natural light is something I never considered but definitely something I'd like. I'm also a new follower. =)

    To answer your question, I am currently in-between books. I read The Girl With the Pearl Earring and Shattered Mirror this week. I'd like to start reading The Curiosity Shop but I just need enough time to settle down and start it.

    I would love to have built in bookshelves that went all around the room. The only problem with that is I would feel like I should fill them up-- so I'd buy more books!
