In my recent post on Branding, I mentioned I didn't care for my blog (old) name, Time Out. My (old) layout has been giving me issues as well. Bloggiesta has motivated me to make a major change. I have started a new blog with a new URL at The Prairie Library. So, in order to keep following my posts head over to my new (this) site and follow me there (here)! In a few months I will shut down Time Out so, say goodbye to the old and in with the new! I hope you like my new layout! Other than that, expect more of the same as you get at Time Out.
For the Blog Improvement Mini Challenge: I have three immediate goals: 1 - get my old readers switched over to my new blog! 2) store up posts/book reviews this summer before school starts and pleasure reading goes out the window and 3) get a guest post!
Helloooo Chelle! I've found you again. And followed you, too. The new blog looks great - I fully understand rebranding. I moved 3 times and changed the name of the blog twice before I settled on the current incarnation.
ReplyDeleteEvery day is Bloggiesta for me so I never participate. Can you alter the comments so that we can add in URLs? At the moment, it won't allow that. It's one of those Blogger quirks.
And and and: I'm going camping tomorrow. We have a long weekend here (the Queen's Birthday -yes the British Queen). We'll be camping in a very special place for Gary & I - Owen Springs.
I might post some photos next week.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your move! When you wrote your post about branding earlier, I was hoping you would follow your gut and just start something new. When you put so much time into something, it's so much nicer to be working on a page that really feels like you!
